SIMCOM Support

Interstate Support

SIMCOM Enterprises is capable of supporting interstate businesses of any model. Due to the logistics involved, the approach varies from business to business.

Generally speaking, any support provided to Interstate customers is broken down into 3 categories:

  • On-site support
  • Remote support, and
  • Phone support

Most major implementations such as servers, workstations, network and other hardware installations will require a degree of on-site support. All pre-existing software and configurations can be administered remotely. Anything restricting remote support or outside the scope of remote support that is not an additional component of Information Technology, will be supported over the phone.

What about existing networks?

SIMCOM needs to first evaluate your network configuration and then advise the best course of action. Depending on the state of the Information Technology, we may need to reinstall key operating systems or applications to ensure network stability. In most cases, SIMCOM will require initial on-site work to implement standard protocols for remote support. Once connectivity is established and all resources are accessible remotely, minimal on-site work should be required.

What happens if our internet goes down and SIMCOM canít remote our systems?

We have procedures in place to resolve connectivity issues over the telephone. In the event of a network outage, SIMCOM will be able to recommend a local IT provider to assist, or commence travel to the site at a pre-determined cost to the customer.
